Today in a launch event at New Delhi, TCL launches its all-new AI x IoT products intending to make your homes intelligent. These products include a smart range of power televisions and air conditioners along with TCL Home App available for Android and iOS devices. TCL C8 4K AI Android TV
The TCL 4K Android TV series comes with Dolby Vision and WCG for an enhanced and vivid viewing experience and with the deep vibrant colors. The TV supports HDR too, which brings extraordinary color, brightness, and contrast to the screen. This time the company is using the Onkyo speaker with Dolby Atmos technology to maximize the sound quality. The TV runs on the latest Android pie 9.0 system with an in-built Google assistant.
The company is saying it India’s first hand’s free voice control TV. You can easily control the TV to make program reservations, switching channels, power on or off, as well as managing other smart home devices such as curtains, lights, AC, etc. you can do all of these with just your voice. The TCL 4K AI Android TV is available into size variants of the 55-inch screen and a 65-inch screen.
TCL AI Ultra-Inverter Air Conditioner
The latest range of IoT and AI-powered smart ACs by TCL includes three series, iEco Air, Smart Air, and Turbo Air. So, let’s take a look at what kind of features these three series have to offer.
The iECO Air range of TCL air condition can be controlled via TCL Home App as well as TCL Android TV. These ACs have energy-saving capability and ultra-low frequency operation with a minimum of 300 units per hour consumption. These air conditioners come with a titan gold coating on condenser and evaporator. The Elite series comes with a BLDC motor that renders extremely low noise and offers high airflow for fast cooling.
The Smart Air series is powered with AI and IoT driven technology. The Smart series air conditioners can be controlled via Smartphone, TV & Google Home. The AC’s run on an AI inverter algorithm and a smart diagnosis that enables it to detect low refrigerant & errors.
The Turbo Air series is specially designed for extreme hot temperature conditions with ultra-tropical compressor working till 60°C. The Turbo Air series also has a great feature called Ultra-Fast cooling in 30 seconds. The company claims that this AC series comes with a Fireproof Electric control box designed for safety purposes.
TCL Home APP
The TCL Home app turns your smartphone into a remote control. You can use it as a touch remote or can control the appliances through voice commands; this app covers it all for you. There is also a Live Chat option available, so if you have any queries, you can directly chat with an agent. This app lets you register your products and raise a complaint also.
Now let us talk about the price of these products. The new TCL C8 4K AI Android TV 55-inch variant is priced at Rs.49,990, and 65-inch is priced at Rs.69,990. Coming to the air conditioners, the Elite series and Turbo Air series comes with 3 Star 1T for Rs.26,990, 3 Star 1.5T for Rs.31,990, and 3 Star 2T for Rs.41,990 respectively. The Smart Air series includes 3 Star 1T for Rs.28,990, 3 Star 1.5T for Rs.33,990 and 3 Star 2T for Rs.43,990. TCL AI Ultra Inverter AC comes with a 5 Star rating also, and it is priced at Rs.40,990 for a 1.5-tonne variant.
