PUBG Mobile India launches the latest Update: PUBG is eagerly awaiting a return to India, but the new report may shock the expectations of PUBG lovers. Amid growing speculation about the launch of PUBG Mobile India in India, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) has made it clear that the Central Government has not allowed PUBG Mobile to relaunch in India (PUBG Mobile India launch date update).
“The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) has not given any permission for the launch of PUBG,” the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said in response to an RTI report on the launch of PUBG in India.
GEM Esports shared the ministry’s reply on its Instagram handle. According to the Instagram post, the RTI was filed on November 30. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology had banned several Chinese apps, including PUBG, in September in the country for security reasons.
Expected to launch recently earlier, inside sports reports said that PUBG corporation officials have been trying for a meeting with officials of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology for more than a month, but the ministry has not yet responded to it. The delay in getting a mission for the meeting means that PUBG Mobile India is not going to launch in the Indian market for the time being.
“There were proper efforts from PUBG, but the situation is such that no progress has been made on the matter. We don’t think the game is going to return to India in the next few months, at least before March 2021. It’s frustrating, but everybody has to live with it,” he said.
