Infinix has launched the Infinix S4 smartphone with triple rear cameras Infinix has surprised everyone by launching something entirely unexpected the entry-level Infinix S4. Priced at Rs 8,999 INR.

The big highlight of the Infinix S4 is its specifications, including a triple-rear camera setup with Mediatek Helio P22.

The Infinix S4 comes with a unibody design that looks like glass but, actually it is not glass it is made of polycarbonate which looks and gives the glass feel. Having said that, the Infinix S4 is “awesome looking device” in its segment.

On top Upfront there your peace and 32 megapixel selfie camera with 6.21 inch HD+ display, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, The display looks impressive for the price and I truly feel this display color reproduction is too good, but we’ll test more and review it further in detail.

Infinix S4 Hands On: Performance

Infinix S4 is powered by 12nm FinFET process, MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage with dedicated MicroSD card slot. It runs Android 9.0 Pie-based XOS 5.0 UI overlay on top out-of-the-box. We don’t have information about android 10 Q update we aren’t sure when to expect updated software on this phone.In our limited time with the device, the processor and RAM combination felt fluid for its price. You will be able to expand storage by up to 256GB.

The Infinix S4 has a triple-camera setup at the back, which comprises of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 8-megapixel secondary sensor for capturing wide angle images and 2-megamixel camera for depth information. Upfront, you will be getting a 32-megapixel AI-enhanced camera for selfies and video calls. The triple-camera setup enables Bokeh Effect (blur effect), scene detection, gender, age, skin tone, and even skin type detection.

The cameras in indoor lighting conditions, performance appeared good for the price, although these are just my initial impressions of the camera.

Infinix S4 support 4G VoLTE on both SIM cards, which means you’ll be able to use your Jio along with any other telecom connection on 4G. Imfinix has included all standard connectivity options in the device from 4G VoLTE to the legacy 3.5mm audio port.

Additionally, the Infinix smartly restricts background applications not in use through its “APP-freezing Power Saver” and “Quick App Freezing” features. We haven’t had a chance to test these yet, though.

The Infinix S4, at Rs 8,999, good selfie camera smartphone in its segment. I have a good feeling about this device. During my time with S4 at launch event, I found it to be a great looking smartphone at Rs 8,999, with the water drop notched screen and MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. The on-paper specifications makes a great deal out of the Infinix S4. We will be coming with an in-depth opinion on the phone in our full review.
