How to Get Blur Mode on Skype. Skype is the service that, I love for interviews and meetings, I often use it
while working from home and can not count on fingers how many times
people have commented on my messy background.

How To Get Blur Mode on Skype Before i begin, make sure you are using the latest version of Skype that is version 8.38 or higher. As of now, Skype blur mode works only on Windows and macOS. Sorry for smartphone users it is not available yet.
If you are not sure wheater you are running the latest version or not, I suggest you downloading it again from the Mac App Store.
Microsoft Store. After the app is installed in your computer, Log in
to your Skype account using your id and password and start a video call.
Once, you are connected, how ever over the screen to bring up the
Settings icon on the top right and select Video and Audio Settings.
You will see the Blur background button. click on that for apply the
blur effect on the live call. The effect is almost instantaneous and
you can turn it on and off with a quick button.
Skype uses AI technology to apply the blur effect over your video
call, so the quality of the blur is not as good a DSLR, but it gets
the job done well.
Alternatively, you can also get the Blur mode by hovering the cursor
on the video button in the Skype window. It pops up a menu and you can
toggle the Blur Mode from here as well.
So, we show you the basic two ways which you can use to enable the
Blur mode on Skype. It works only on the macOS and Windows. I could
