Here is how to update Google Chrome:

1. First, open the Google Chrome browser.
2. Click on the three-dot icon (right next to your Google profile image)
3. From the dropdown menu, click on Help
4. Click on About Google Chrome.
5. On the About Chrome page, the browser will automatically begin to search for any new updates available to be installed.
6. If there is one, please download it and install the update
7. After the update is installed, it’s recommended that you should restart the chrome for the changes to take effect.

Once you’ve restarted the chrome browser, you can try once again to cast the any video you want to watch onto your Chromecast.

Turn Off All Ad-Blockers

There are times when Ad-Blockers can return user experience; how odd! But it’s true as Ad-Blockers block JavaScripts, and it can break a site, so if you are getting Chromecast sources not supported, you need to turn off all ad-blockers. Here is how to do that:

1. Open Google Chrome browser and click on the three-dot icon
2. From the menu, click on More tools and then click on Extensions.
3. On the Extensions page, locate the adblocker you have installed and toggle the blue switch underneath the extension to turn it off.
4. Restart your browser and try to cast again to your Chromecast.

Once you have turn off the ad-blocker try to cast the video and check if it’s fixed.

Enable the Cast Media Route Provider Option

1. Open your Google Chrome search browser.
2. Type in chrome://flags into the browser and hit Enter
3. Next, press both your CTRL + F keys on your keyboard to bring up the Find tool. Alternatively, you can use the search bar at the top (available on the latest versions of Chrome).
4. Type in Cast Media Route, which we want to look for, and hit Enter.
5. Now, you should locate the “Cast Media Route Provider” option as it will be highlighted (as shown below).
6. Click on the dropdown menu on the right to make sure that you select it as Enabled.
7. Lastly, we will need to restart Google Chrome to have the changes take effect. To do this, close the search browser by hitting the X (top-right) and reopen Google Chrome.
