The Indian Smartphone manufacturer Centric has launched Centric S1 smartphone in Barcelona MWC 2019. This is the company’s first pop-up selfie camera phone. The new phone comes with an “in-display fingerprint sensor” and face unlock feature. Centric S1 has fast charging support. It is equipped with Pump Express 3.0 fast charging technology. It claims to have 50 percent charge in about 20 minutes. The phone has amoled display panel. The device also packs wireless charging support.

Centric S1 4 GB RAM/64GB storage is priced at $ 310 (about 22,000 Indian rupees). The price of 6 GB RAM/128 GB storage variant has not been announced yet. The sale of five centric phones will start in India in June. The Indian price of these handsets has not yet been announced.
Centric S1 Specifications and Features
Centric S1 runs on Android 9.0 Pie Out of the Box. It has a 6.39-inch full-HD + Amoled display. It is equipped with 92 percent screen to body ratio and 19.5: 9 aspect ratios. The phone has 4 GB and 6 GB RAM with the Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P70 processor.
Centric S1 Camera
Speaking of camera setup, Centric S1 has two rear cameras. The primary sensor is 16 megapixels and it has 5 megapixels secondary sensor. The phone has a 8-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. It is worth mentioning that Centric S1 is the third handset after Vivo V15 Pro and Vivo Nex that comes with a pop-up selfie camera.
Centric S1 inbuilt storage is 64 GB and 128 GB of storage. The phone’s battery is of 3,080 mAh. It supports fast charging Pump Express 3.0 and wireless charging.
Centric is soon going to launch this device with some more smartphone to the Indian market in the race with Xiaomi, Redmi Oppo, Vivo, Asus and Realme.
